Preamble

So begins another trip abroad, and consequently another blog. This time I leave behind a difficult 6 months of learning experiences, disappointments and heartbreak. I hope to return inspired for another year of transitions. With any luck the progression of this blog will help me realize that. As with previous trips, this is meant as a personal record of my experiences for myself, my family, and those who care to hear about it. I write what I want to remember. On this trip I believe internet will be scarce, more scarce than Africa even, so posts will be long and detailed compilations of different days. But I promise I will do my best to make them entertaining.

Nothing makes me happier than signing on and reading comments to posts. It keeps me feeling connected. You don't need a google account to post one, just post as anonymous and sign your name at the end.
